Colonial Estates is a cluster-development community located in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Founded in 2000, Colonial Estates is governed by certain protective restrictions and covenents imposed to help maintain the quality and beauty standards consistent with our neighborhood vision.
In 2015, the last lots of Colonial Estates were sold and the developers were ready to turn responsibility for neighborhood maintenance and governance over to it's residents. This required the creation of a legal entity such as an HOA or neighborhood association1. The Colonial Estates Neighborhood Association of Jessamine County (CENA) was created for this purpose. In 2017, responsibility for the costs and management of Colonial Estates neighborhood maintenance was officially transferred to CENA. View our bylaws here.
